PositionOverview

Searching for Software QA Engineer to be part of Siemens R&D team. The Software QA Engineer will be working with remote software developers team in an agile and waterfall software development environment and will be responsible for generating, executing and monitoring testing across all products and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and identify user stories

  • Design and Develop well-structure testplans, test cases based on requirements

  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinatetesting activities

  • Identify, record, document and trackissues

  • Know how to analyze issues and providedetailed steps on how to re-produce the issues

  • Execute test cases and generate testcases reports

  • Track quality assurance metrics, liketest coverage, defects

  • Perform gap analysis to identify requiredtest cases

  • Help managing and updating the system andinstruments in the labs

  • Support existing products maintenance

RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field orproven work experience

  • 2+ years of relevant software testingexperience

  • Knowledge and Expertise to write testplans, test cases and analyze results

  • Understanding of Agile QA concepts,practices, processes and tools

  • Proven written and oral communicationskills

  • Ability to manage time effectively andlearn quickly

  • Flexible, able to embrace change andadaptable to new, challenging situations

  • Team player focused on working towardsachieving team/project success

  • Self-starter with ability to work in afast-paced environment bringing new ideas and technologies into business

  • Ability to manage multiple projects andissues concurrently

  • Results and deadline driven

  • Ability to work independently with littledirection

PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Experience in QA automation is a plus
