Cedar Fair Entertainment Production- Video in Buena Park, California
Support Technical Production department in the installation, construction, design, and maintenance of one or more of the following
areas: staging(construction), lighting, audio, paint, scenic dressing, special effects. Provide hands on theatrical techniques and
skills in the above mentioned specialty area. Follow directions from the supervision team and lead small crews as needed.
Ensures the availability of all needed materials and equipment for the smooth and efiicient peration of the department.
Construct, install and/or repair stage scenes, set dressings, props, lighting equipment, audio equipment, etc...
Read, understand, develop and implement plans and blueprints.
Research and recommmend tools and equipment to complete assigned projects.
Lead crews and direct personnel as required to complete projects on time and within budget.
Recruit, interview, hire and train divisional staff as needed.
Perform operational duties in show venues as business needs dictate.
Provide recommendations to supervision of crew member performance in order to actively develop key staff.
Assist in parkwide projects as requested by Project Development.
Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including
initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety
guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee
Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.
2-4 years specialty experience in a technical productions area at a professional level (scenic parinter/artists, props,
master/scenic carpenter, stage contruction/rigging, special effects.)
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV,
previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial
