Title: Private Label Technical Product - Sourcing Manager
The Private Label / fisher brand Technical Product - Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing product strategies to accelerate the growth of Private Label business. He / She is also responsible for private label technical specifications, sourcing and implementation in support of the RSD NA / EMEA and HMD Portfolio Management teams. This is a cross-functional role with responsibility for project management and accountability for deadlines, compliance, results and corresponding metrics reporting to Director, Global Portfolio Management, fisher brand . The role will be defining and building new product development and portfolio expansion, and supporting market analysis, planning, and commercial strategy. Key success metrics of this position are revenue growth, portfolio profitability, product quality and new RSD and HMD product introductions.
What will you do?
Develop, implement and manage new fisher brand products by collaborating with Category Managers, Commercial Product Managers, suppliers and other internal and external stakeholders globally.
Manages the full product lifecycle for new / assigned product lines
Lead new product introductions (NPI), and providing data related to competitors, the market, product positioning, revenue and unit forecasting and pricing strategies
Review current fisher brand portfolio, ID country of origin, and develop plan, where applicable, to shift manufacturing closer to end-user markets, reducing our dependency on single or limited countries of origin.
Define product performance specifications and manage product testing with external laboratories as required
Manage product phase gates / product introduction timelines
Supplier selection and development
Lead product and contract negotiations
Develop and deploy sourcing strategies with internal and external suppliers to drive revenue and profitability growth of the product portfolio
Develop and manage strategic collaborations for product partnerships. Lead cross-functional teams with marketing, supply chain, commercial groups and external partners to execute programs
Champion new product introductions, work across functions to develop business opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction and use voice of customer research. Develop long-term product roadmap according to business strategy
Support product planning in conjunction with manufacturing and planning teams to deliver optimal service levels for products; analyze profitability and monitor key financial indicators
Collaborating with Regulatory and Quality functions to ensure sourced products compliant with all relevant regulatory and quality requirements
Develop and maintain domain expertise in both the products and the strategic sourcing process How will you get here?
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a science related discipline
MBA and/or Masters or Ph.D. in a science related field preferred
Minimum 6+ years, product management, strategic sourcing, finance or market development experience
Experience collaborating with cross-functional regional marketing and sales teams
Strong project management and independent decision-making capabilities
Self-starter with the ability to execute plans with minimal supervision
Strong management, project management and planning skills, and comfortable making decisions and embracing changes
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Low Cost Region sourcing
Ability to work with teams across the global and cultural difference
Ability to work in matrix organizational structure.
Strong understanding of financial concepts.
Ability to understand business - determine what is important and works towards goals.
Oriented towards achieving bottom-line results - with ability to drive towards deadlines.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Advanced skills in MS-Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project),
Experience with vendor negotiations and a basic understanding of new product launches is preferred.
Working knowledge of cGMP regulations.
Industry-related experience in laboratory, healthcare and/or safety products preferred.
Requires highly developed skills and knowledge of project management and supply chain implementation and very good knowledge of procurement principles and concepts.
Travel Required: US, Europe, Asia and other geographies as required
