OfficeTeam has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant who enjoys solving complex problems and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be leading the efforts of supporting the office by taking on various office and administrative tasks as an Administrative Assistant. Do you embrace the tasks of mail merging, pivot tables, and presentation design? Then we have just the Administrative Assistant position for you. This Administrative Assistant role is a long-term temporary opportunity and is located in the City of Industry, California area.
Your responsibilities in this role
Answer telephone calls and return voicemails
Provide help when needed with various projects for other employees
Tend to word processing, filing, and faxing duties
Greet and guide visitors
Ability to use the internet for research
Data entry experience desired
General familiarity with Electronic Records
Background working with Microsoft Word
Previous experience working with Database
Demonstrated knowledge of filing
Earlier work involving Microsoft PowerPoint
Maintain Vendor Files experience
Adeptness in Meeting Minutes
Good understanding of Database Entry
Update Spreadsheets experience highly desired
Deep understanding of Create Spreadsheets
Practical knowledge of Department Records
Microsoft Excel experience highly preferred
Foundational knowledge in Maintain Spreadsheets
At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Candidate must have substantial computer experience including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
