Our Human Resources internship provides the opportunity for you to make an impact on the company by working on critical business needs and hands-on projects while also being able to grow yourself professionally through challenging assignments and personal coaching.
Our 12-week summer internship allows you to take a deep dive into what it is like to be a true HR professional at a passionate, challenging, and innovative company. Our HR internship is project-based so you will experience both larger ongoing projects as well as shorter-scale projects throughout the summer that align with our business objectives.
During the internship, you will gain HR specific skills & knowledge, the opportunity to build your professional network, ability to gain exposure to how Transamerican Auto Parts operates and increase your business acumen. Specifically, some of the projects you might have exposure to could include HR analytics, orientation revamp, talent pipelining, succession planning, or generalist responsibilities to name a few. Interns who demonstrate exceptional performance and a passion to learn may be offered an additional internship or a full-time position, depending on graduation date eligibility
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Human Resources or other related degree
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0, preferred
Able to complete full 12-week internship working 40 hours per week (May/June-August 2021)
Proven strength in the following: analysis and creative problem solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership
The drive to actively contribute to both personal and company-wide goals through creative and innovative thinking
This will be a remote position. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
