Machine Learning and AI

  • 5+ years industry experience

  • Experienced with S3, EC2, APIGateway, SQS, Postgres, Kafka, Spark and Airflow, and Prefect

  • Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability

  • Leverage new technology paradigms (e.g., serverless, containers, microservices)

  • Familiarity developing distributed services deployed on local, on premise and cloud based platforms

  • Hands on programming skills for full stack services development (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js, NoSql DB’s)

  • Uses a quantitative approach (modeling, iterative prototyping, analysis, tools) to architect and develop robust secure high performance cloud services that meet demanding experience goals

  • Track record of influencing cross-functional architects and high performance teams to define architecture

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies


As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for building our next generation data processing pipeline with cutting-edge technologies that drive innovation. Contribute in areas including but not limited to: full-stack services development, operations, data analytics, and low-level HW/SW interface. Flexibility to manage infrastructure projects from development to deployment, support cross- functional engineering efforts to meet teams’ goals. Work closely with the team in a collaborative environment, review specification and needs, architect and develop new methodologies for solving complex problems. Assist with bring-up of physical and virtual prototypes for Apple’s state-of-the-art products.

Education & Experience

BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent years of industry experience
