Saviynt IT Director in El Segundo, California
We are seeking an experienced and highly-skilled IT Director to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire Information Technology department and ensuring that our company?s technology systems are reliable, up-to-date, and meet the needs of the company. You will also work closely with senior leadership to develop technology policies to be administered throughout the company. We prefer candidates who have at least ten years of IT experience, with five in a supervisory role.
A well-qualified candidate will be able to collaborate with the organization to understand where technology, systems, or IT Support make the most sense and help build coalitions to ensure successful adoptions and life-cycles of those solutions. Oversees IT operations.
Leads a team of IT staff.
Designs and implements IT strategies and infrastructure.
Identifies and eliminates security risks.
Analyzes business requirements for IT needs and systems.
Works to increase user satisfaction.
Evaluates IT operations with regard to established goals.
Communicates within the IT team and across departments as needed.
Assesses the need for new equipment and software.
Prepares progress and budget reports for upper management.
Hires new members of IT staff.
Builds and maintains relationships with outside vendors.
Manages company help desk.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems
Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects
Solid working knowledge of all relevant coding languages and security protocols
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or related field (graduate degree a plus)
Minimum of eight years? experience working in IT operations
Minimum of three years? experience overseeing IT teams and projects
Certifications and continuing education preferred
