Intel Performance Verification Lead/Architect in Folsom, California

Job Description

Graphics & Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) is responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We work closely with partners across Intel and do not let any organizational boundary get in the way of solving problems. We are looking for a Verification Architect Lead/Manager to join our team.

As a Principal Engineer, Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Architecting and implementing verification methodology enhancements

Developing solutions across simulation and emulation environments

Defining & modelling of performance targets /use cases

Developing Pre-Si performance verification plans for IP, Sub System and SOC

Architecting Testsbench Infrastructure & Content development methodologies for simulation/Emulation performance verification

In coordination with System team & architects, tuning performance results to meet product bounding box

Supporting Post Si performance measurements/debug and correlating results between Pre and Post SI validation to fine tune performance models

Mentoring and ramping other performance verification team members

May also have to work with internal/external customers for technical discussions, SOW definition etc.

Guiding and ramping up junior technical leads

Qualifications

Minimum skills and experience:

? Master in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering with 18+ years working experience.

? Experience in working on microprocessors/asics as Verification Technical Lead / Architect in security verification / design

? Extensive experience in defining and implementing performance verification methodologies

? Knowledge of developing verification testbench and infrastructure both in simulation and emulation

? Have experience in debugging complex infrastructure, SW and RTL design issues

? Experience developing verification scoreboards and content collateral using UVM/C++/System Verilog

? Knowledge of C/C++/Scripting languages

Preferred skills and experience:

? Knowledge of RTL coding (VerilogHDL/VHDL)

? Hiring, mentoring and leading technical teams
