L4 Validation Technician
Mastery of client required safety training.
Mastery of client required standard operating procedures (SOP) lab training.
Mastery of client required product knowledge and tech training.
Independently build, setup, upgrade and bring up platforms (CRBs, RVPs, customer systems).
Read, understand, and follow test procedures for basic acceptance test of audio driver.
Listening for audio noise that shouldn’t be there.
Speak to Cortana and verify response.
Report findings in spreadsheet format maintained by senior technicians.
Maintain an open sighting spreadsheet to track Audio issues for 3PE.
Utilization of Dediprog tool for programing system FW and BIOS.
Look up procedures and information in platform server libraries.
Technician with Inventory Management Focus responsible for:
Basic inventory safety and maintenance of assets being assigned to you for setup and testing.
Identifying areas of improvement or risk regarding work tasks responsibilities and make recommendations and/or proposals to the lab manager or lab staff as appropriate.
Interfacing with and informing customers and stakeholders regarding inventory processes.
Edit and maintain test documentation and suggest improvements.
Create new test content with guidance from engineers.
Be able to configure test tools and accurately document the test results.
Perform ad hoc test requests as requested by engineer and fellow technicians.
Solder fine pitch surface mount components for minor board rework.
Independently triage complex bugs and file it with all required information into the bug registry/database.
Suggest lines of code fix/circuit modifications to resolve failure/bug.
Isolate and provide solutions for automation issues/problems.
Able to work directly with Engineers to debug efficiently and overcome obstacles.
Assist and mentor other lower level technicians.
Ability to Support IHVs, Customers and Engineers via face-to-face and email on the tests and components supported by the team.
Time, E-mail management and customer support skills to keep up with SLA’s and deliverables commitment.
