Army Installation Management Command LRAM Coordinator in Fort Hunter Liggett, California

Summary

About the Position: This position is located at the US Army Installation Management Command, US Army Garrison Fort Hunter Liggett, Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security, Training Division, Training Branch, Fort Hunter Liggett, California.

Responsibilities

Develop resource requirements, cost estimates, and cost comparisons to project timelines.

Act as primary hand receipt holder of all activities.

Assist with the acquisition of new equipment to complete contracts.

Ensure all required environmental documentation is completed.

Coordinate Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) activities to ensure environmental regulation compliance.

Provide feedback to the Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Coordinator on tasks.

Provide feedback to the Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Coordinator on tasks.

Conduct field surveys to track progress.

Design Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) projects to provide expertise.

Provide recommendations for future Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) practices.

Prepare a work log to maintain projects.

Ensure crews receive adequate certifications to conduct tasks.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Basic Requirement for LRAM Coordinator: Degree:

A. Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position;

OR

B. Combination of Education and Experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes work that involves implementing the guidance of the Integrated Training Area Management Program Coordinator based on training mission and general program priorities. Providing technical expertise necessary to plan and execute training land repair, maintenance, and reconfiguration projects. OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Natural Resources/Soil Science. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Education
