Job Description

Medical Affairs Research (MAR) is seeking a graduate student summer intern to help implement a new Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) process, which will summarize MAR’s research priorities for the coming year across the portfolio, based on structured collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role of the summer intern will be to:

  • Consolidate existing Gilead Sciences (GS) research activities, mapping them against research questions of interest

  • Articulate list of existing data gaps of interest to GS

  • Create summaries of cross-functional product strategies to inform the IEP direction

  • Help compile information from workshops and interviews with key internal stakeholders to better understand the data needs across the organization to support each molecule/product

  • Conduct analytics to inform priority ranking

  • Assist with development of final IEP summaries
