Milestone Technologies Operational Planning Specialist (PS 3) in Fremont, California

Overview

approach to IT Managed Services includes Contact Center Services, Internal IT Support, Data Center Operations, Workforce Solutions, and IT Professional Services.

The Operational Planning Specialist will assist by tracking and completing team projects and tasks using internal tools to ensure timely completion of deliverables and accurate capture of metrics; while also providing project support to new and ongoing initiatives. The Project Specialist will perform regular audits/general project coordination in support of the execution and implementation of initiatives for the Client Team.

The Operational Planning Specialist will support the client’s Global Security Operations Team (GSO). GSO’s mission is to protect the people, property, and reputation of the organization.

*Please note for this role working onsite at this client location is required Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities

Partner with subject matter experts to create and standardize operational processes

Develop and implement pre planning checklists for natural and man made disasters

Develop and implement post incident plant to return to normal operations after a crisis

Develop and implement supporting documentation to core processes that include post orders, safety guidelines and workflows

Serve as the operational processes subject matter expert and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of global security systems, physical security standards and operational workflows

Partner with support teams to drive improvements in operational documentation through the use of metrics

Support internal stakeholders and customers with demonstrating alignment to Global Security Operations best practices and Global Security standards

Stay abreast of current and emerging security risks. Research new technologies, understanding existing processes, and reference recognized standards and frameworks; recommend new strategies and/or coupled new technology where appropriate

Partner with Global Security teams to align expectations on new initiatives and address deficiencies in current processes, physical security systems and/or equipment

Qualifications

Experience :

5+ years of physical security and emergency management experience

3+ years of business continuity experience

BS in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business, Emergency Management or equivalent experience

Technical security certifications CPP, FEMA PDS or similar

Proficient with G Suite and the Microsoft Suite

Experience with physical security systems such as CCure, Genetec, NC4, Travel Tracker and/or Visual Command Center

Experience with project management, change management and process management

Root cause analysis, industry benchmarking, survey evaluation and data interpretation

The individual should have the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, present professionally, and work well with the highest level of Corporate and Division management as well as his/her peer group.
