Newport Academy Overnight Admission Representative Adolescent Behavioral Health in Irvine, California

The role of the Admissions Representative is to answer incoming calls, obtain demographic and insurance information from the callers, speak to basic program information, qualify Leads, and convert Leads to Pre-Admissions (Cases) for handoff to Admissions Coordinators.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Following up with leads/web inquiries and assigning them to Coordinators once contact is made

  • Follow up with department voicemails/abandoned calls

  • Track types of calls on Call Tracking

  • Follow up with Treatment Consultant calls

  • Send out shift reports, when appropriate

  • Answer general phone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner

  • Ability to speak intelligibly and accurately about our programs and how they relate to the caller

  • Work well with a team and maintain a high level of organization

  • Expedient data entry of client demographics and insurance information

  • Transfer calls as necessary

  • Understand when a case is high profile or an urgent admission (based on family commitment and available beds) and to communicate effectively with Admissions Coordinators.

  • Shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, or weekend and may change based on Departmental needs. Must be flexible.

  • Behavioral health experience.

  • Call center experience.
