Sutter Health Entrance Screener-Shared Lab COVID (Full-Time-TEMPORARY) - LIVERMORE in Livermore, California

Position Overview:

Thank you for your interest intemporary contract opportunities with RightSourcing at Sutter Health andwanting to assist our team that proudly cares for more than 3 million of ourneighbors across Northern California.

Position Overview:

Asks Coronavirus screening questions and maintains documentation of everyone entering into facilities. Provides education regarding proper mask and hand hygiene protocols, ensuring that everyone entering the facilities adheres to protocols. Assists patients and visitors with finding their way in the facility.

  1. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. Thisincludes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

  2. Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss quality issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.

  3. Stress tolerance/Self control: Ability to maintain patience and composure, control emotions, set clear boundaries and potentially moderate difficult situations.

  4. Confidentiality: Knowledge of State and Federal (HIPAA) laws pertaining to confidentiality of protected health information. Ability to comply with laws and maintain confidentiality of patientinformation.

  5. Adaptability/Flexibility: Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to urgent situations thatmay arise. Ability to adjust actions in relation to othersand adapt to offer best solution.

  6. Problem Solving: Ability to identify problems, review related information, employ creativityand alternative thinking.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Previous hospital or medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications:

Skills

Knowledge of Government regulations and requirements.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

General Understanding of spreadsheet/e-mail applications, and registration systems.

Knowledge of English language w/basic written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, problem solve and meet deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Ability to maintain levels of inventory to assure availability.

Basic math skills demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.

Basic keyboarding and computer skills.
