The Nanny League LOS ANGELES NANNY NEEDED ON THE WESTSIDE! in Mar Vista, California

LOS ANGELES, CA - Wonderful family in Mar Vista with a 2.5 year old boy and 10-month-old girl looking for a FULL-TIME NANNY M-F 8:30AM- 6:30PM, Pay is $20-25+/hr depending on experience via payroll. Mom is very hands on and you are only with both kids by yourself typically from 4-6PM. Must be a team player and great attitude! They are so sweet and laid-back, looking for their right hand to join their family. They have one six year old Bernese Mountain Dog, so much be OK with dogs. You will be responsible for cooking, light cleaning and laundry for the kids. They would love someone who can be full charge with at least one of the kids at a time, someone who is hands-on & engaging; someone is resourceful and thoughtful; able to deflect their attention as needed; take for walks and facilitate education play, arts & Crafts and game and activities! They need someone with lots energy who can keep up with them and also challenge them emotionally, physically and intellectually! They are looking for someone caring, responsible, positive, creative, patient, good at taking directions, comfortable with multiples, and full of good energy (our kids are active). Ideally, the candidate would be bilingual (Spanish/English) but not a requirement. Must have your own car to drive the children or you are able to use mom's to transport the children as needed. Both of kids can be shy at first and are very attached to mom & dad! They are both active and loving. Their son is cute, chatty, fun and undoubtedly strong-willed. It is best to pick and choose your battles with him and find ways to make him feel like he has choices. Their daughter is an ever-changing, but, overall, an easy baby. She is sweet but finding her voice (she'll largely go with the flow, but will let you know when she isn't into something, like her brother stealing her toys). It wouldn't happen often, but, ideally, we'd like someone who would be open to helping infrequently on an evening, weekend, or possibly overnight travel (for vacation or, if needed, for work).
