Aerotek Electrical Engineer in MONROVIA, California

Description:

Responsibilities

o Own hardware from concept generation to real world use

o Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production

Qualifications

o 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.

o Ability to “hack” together quick feasibility demonstrations as well as building robust systems delivered to the customers

o Fluency with EE fundamentals, both analog and digital.

o Familiarity with industrial construction practices (UL-508, NFPA-79, etc.)

o Familiarity with industrial sensors and actuators

o System design and component selection for electro-mechanical systems

o PLC control system design and programming

o Board-level design.

o Electrical troubleshooting and rework.

o Exposure to wireless comms (Bluetooth LE, WiFi, etc.).

o Mixed-signal embedded systems.

o FPGA’s o Low-power, low-noise circuits; filters; data acquisition circuits.

o Capable of both advising others in design decisions and as well as executing own work individually.

o Eager to stretch current knowledge and capabilities
