The Strategic Pursuits Team (SPT) is responsible for working with local field teams to drive the largest deals at Microsoft. Partnering across the Worldwide Commercial Team, SPT combines resources, experience, and investments to charter new ground in strategic partnerships with our largest customers

As the SPT Center of Excellence Lead, you will help standardize the content necessary to win large pursuits. You will work with our Account Executives and adjacent teams to ensure that we are consistent in our approach leveraging all of the appropriate teams and resources across Microsoft in large complex deal pursuits.


  • Work with SPT AEs, Sales Lead, and Sales Managers to understand account landscape

  • Enable the optimized engagement model across large deal pursuits by creating appropriate reusable collateral to support sales pursuits

  • Build a content management strategy to enable our SPT teams to locate key information and content

  • Help sales teams create customer facing materials to ensure standard look and feel for large deal pursuit

  • Create communications strategy across all 3 major geographies and create necessary content to support

  • Create internal content to educate and align across adjacent teams


A strong candidate will possess as many of the following skills and experiences as possible

  • 5+ years of program, project or operations management experience is required.

  • Strong communication, executive presence, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to engage and influence individuals at all levels.

  • Flexibility to handle directional changes with the ability to juggle moving priorities to ensure project success.

  • Proven ability to assess business needs, prioritize accordingly and escalate appropriately.

  • Proven cross-team collaboration skills in complex organizations.

  • Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment.

  • Self-starter who can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.
