Microsoft Enterprise Services (ES) is seeking a talented User Experience (UX) Consultant with strong interaction and visual design skills with the proven ability to conceive and articulate design solutions by mapping a customer’s business problem to an extensible and usable information Consultants. As a UX Consultant you will be creative, open-minded, and have strong communication skills. You will work closely with customers, partners, and other Microsoft teams to drive success. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment.
This role requires the ability to engage in effective dialog with senior-level business and technology decision makers, a focus on the development of customer business agility and business value, and deep experience with User Experience design.
Create UX project deliverables (such as concepts, wireframes, site maps, content inventories, user interface designs, user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, prototypes, and design specifications, etc.) following an iterative design process.
Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand and user requirements
Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user centered design process
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Participate in user experience research and usability studies.
Develop modular designs for scalability
Contribute to representation of User Experience in pitch work and business development.
Collaborate with and develop mutual respect and trust with project managers, developers, researchers and designers.
3-6 years of experience with an emphasis on research and visual design
Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, intuitive, and functional UI/UX design (Please include your portfolio with details about your contributions)
Ability to translate business requirements into functional design and seamless execution.
Knowledge of interaction design and methodology
Experience designing across multiple device types and contexts (desktop, mobile, accessories)
Experience working in enterprise software in an iterative and agile development environment
Up to date with the latest Design trends, techniques, and technologies
Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
Some experience in working with or for large corporation
Travel Required up to 75%
