Intuit Content Marketing Strategy Leader in Mountain View, California

Overview

Join the QuickBooks Global Brand team to lead the Content Marketing Strategy team as a Senior Marketing Manager. The Content Marketing team in Intuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group (SBSEG) delivers powerful content and campaigns to inform, empower and inspire QuickBooks customers and prospects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to guide the content marketing strategy and creation of content and campaigns across our portfolio of products. As a player/coach you will also guide the Content Marketing Strategy for our Midmarket Content Marketing team working closely with our product marketing and Global Demand Center Teams. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and deeply experienced content marketing manager who can guide and develop a team of Content Marketing strategists to elevate our brand, capture top-of-funnel traffic and drive conversion for QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in leadership, management, content marketing and a strong foundation within a leading tech, fin-tech or b-to-b publishing company.

What you'll bring

  • Strong track record of leadership and influencing skills in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment.

  • Ambitious appetite to deliver best-in-class breakthrough experiences and gaining energy from the opportunity to push the boundaries of what is possible.

  • 5+ years of digital marketing and/or content marketing management at a mid-large size tech or SAAS company that includes delivering breakthrough content experiences and related impact.

  • 5+ years concepting, creating and building content and campaigns designed to bring new offerings to market that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.

  • Robust expertise in Content Marketing data and analytics and uncover powerful reputable digital marketing expertise, with in-depth knowledge of SEO, social media marketing, content amplification, lead generation and full-funnel campaign management.

  • Rich portfolio of published written and multimedia content that is optimized for a targeted audience, platform and objective and is aligned with compelling results and strategic insights.

  • Leading copywriting expertise with a proven track record across a wide variety of media, from long-form articles and blog posts to video, motion graphics and multimedia content.

  • Experience leading end-to-end content marketing strategy and amplification, from defining the objectives and strategies, defining the core KPI's and leading indicators and executing the campaigns.

  • Strong prioritization skills and strategic decision making to determine the highest impact near-term and long-term content marketing opportunities.

  • Clear track record of managing multiple projects, making smart and fast decisions, partnering cross-functionally, delighting customers and driving dramatic growth through successful content marketing strategies and execution in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear examples of using data actively to define a content strategy, desired KPI's and leading indicators, ROI analysis and recommendations.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • BA/BS required, or equivalent work experience; MBA strongly preferred.

How you will lead

  • Define an industry-leading and customer data-backed content marketing strategy to define our QuickBooks MidMarket story and guide the creation of content for our lead generation and nurturing capabilities.

  • Experience driving ABM strategies in a matrixed environment and leading through influence and expertise is essential.

  • Accountable for the growth and development of the content marketing strategy team by defining and delivering against clearly defined business goals, including search rankings, site traffic, content engagement, leads generated and revenue.

  • Influence and drive robust activation in close partnership with the SEO, social media, communications, integrated marketing, lead generation, business partnerships and customer retention teams to deliver measurable outpaced impact for the QuickBooks brand and products.

  • Management and delivery of the Monthly and Quarterly Dashboards and Analysis.

  • Collaborate with coworkers at all levels across the business as well as external partners to ensure widespread support for the QuickBooks Commerce content marketing strategy.

  • Deliver detailed content marketing analysis that includes meaningful and actionable insights to identify the best use of resources and deliver against ambitious business goals.

  • Seamlessly flex from breakthrough strategy to execution, and ensure the timely delivery of successful content that is on-brand, on-channel and speaks to its audience.

  • Thrive independently and within a team environment, with a proven track record of bringing a creative, proactive approach to work with minimal supervision.
