We are looking to hire an Inventory Manager to support the Newark, California manufacturing site.

This is just a high-level overview of the role we need you to fill for us

Supervises work flow and efficiency efforts of the inventory and shipping departments. The Inventory Supervisor will oversee daily production, shipping, and procurement scheduling as well as reporting in SAP. Monitor raw material and packaging levels and perform clerical and administrative duties within designated areas of responsibility. This is a supervisory role with responsibility for managing direct reports’ performance, development and training, as well as coaching and directing employees.

  • Supervises work flow and efficiency efforts of the inventory and shipping departments.

  • Responsible for procurement of raw material, packaging, equipment and miscellaneous plant necessities.

  • Responsible for scheduling of finished good production.

  • Responsible for monitoring raw materials and packaging inventories.

  • Maintains production documentation.

  • Administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to raw material and packaging receipt, issuing process orders on SAP, processing bill payments.

  • Coordinates EH&S activities as designated by the Plant Manager.

  • Responsible for training and recertification of fork lift operators.

  • Follow all appropriate Environmental Protection, Safety, Health and Quality (ESHQ) policies.

  • Wears prescribed Personal Protective equipment and ensures that prescribed safeguards are properly used.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience, or minimally, a High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Must be above average user with spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel

  • Must be above average user with ERP systems such as SAP S4 Hana
