Robert Half International Full Charge Bookkeeper in Newport Beach, California

Description We have a client who is looking to fill a Full Charge Bookkeeper role promptly with a candidate who can lead the clerical staff and manage full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, and audit.   • Experience with Accounts Receivable

  • List budget transfers

  • Group sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Create cash flow projections, as needed

  • Business license and gross receipts coverage

  • Additional special projects if necessary

  • Oversee monthly accounting close

  • Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Sustain Accounts Payable

  • Assemble subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

  • Credit Card management and reconciliation Requirements - Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

    • Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

  • Experience with Quickbooks ProAdvisor

  • Quality experience with financial statement preparation

  • Well-founded grasp of Analyze Financial Statements

  • Full charge bookkeeping experience

  • Good understanding of Prepare Financial Statements

  • Bookkeeping experience

  • Earlier work involving Monthly Financial Statements

  • Skills in Quickbooks Premier

  • Proven knowledge of Full Charge Bookkeeping

  • Previous experience working with Quickbooks Online

  • General familiarity with Consolidated Financial Statements

  • Comprehension of QuickBooks Pro

  • Strong familiarity with Bookkeeping Functions

  • Practical knowledge of Financial Statement

  • Wide ranging experience with financial statements consolidation

  • Basic Bookkeeping experience

  • Foundational knowledge in Computerized Bookkeeping System

  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

  • Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
