GI Lab Tech
The GI Lab Technician, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, will assume the responsibility of assisting the RN in preparation of patients, transporting patients, and assisting the physician with all GI endoscopic procedures. Responsible for assuring appropriate decontamination, testing and sterilization of equipmentment/instrumentation used in GI endoscopy procedures.
Qualifications
Surgical Technician graduate from a formal training program or one year experience as a GI Lab technician
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions.
Must be able to work varied hours to meet departmental needs.
AHA BLS card
Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire
