Kelly Services Customer Service Manager in Oakland, California

Kelly Services is excited to offer this Direct Hire opportunity in Oakland to serve as the Customer Support Manager for our client in the Foods Manufacturing industry.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm

Salary: $60,000/ year

With this opportunity you will:

  • Oversee a team of up to 8 employees, each supporting up to 15 clients

  • Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training and terminations of customer service representatives

  • Maintain/ support company image and philosophy standards; driving brand recognition initiatives and support team education by maintaining quality training standards and practices and making appropriate updates/suggestions to SOP’s

  • Assist in brand initiatives for new lead/ business generation

  • Achieve customer service team metrics and team accuracy standards

  • Direct coordination efforts, service initiatives and assist in problem solving and customer resolutions, as escalated

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of People Management experience within Customer Service

  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office tools including: Outlook, Outlook Calendar, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proven successes in employee retention, engagement and team building

  • Proven organization, planning and analytical skills
