The Velo team is based in downtown Palo Alto, CA, a short walk from some of the best lunchtime and ice cream spots in the South Bay.
As part of our digital banking onboarding platform team, you and will be responsible end to end for the platform including strategy, product planning, execution, including idea-ting the next disruptive product innovation to grinding it out to get your killer feature shipped. You will utilize your full range of product superpowers, getting into the weeds with our in-house design and engineering teams to both launch and drive growth across a range of digital banking and personal finance products.
You will join our small team of product managers in our Palo Alto office who together are reimagining the future of banking.
Develop innovative and industry leading products that uniquely serve cross-border EWB customers and differentiate our products from competitors (national and regional banks, emerging direct / challenger banks and FinTechs)
Lead and drive the cross-border onboarding platform across, mobile, online and call center, including product strategy, roadmap, UX, feature definition and integration with 3rd parties experience. This includes new product launches, product extensions and ongoing product management.
Responsible for onboarding funnel optimization and sales metrics for the digital bank
Drive the tactics and delivery timelines for the work
Prioritize and sequence product initiatives against a mandate
Work with technology and analytics to analyze data and conduct experiments (i.e. A/B tests) in order to optimize the product and business metrics, including application completion and customer experience
Influence cross-functional peers in order to build a strong partnership in delivering excellent products and services
Influence key stakeholders throughout EWB in order to align resources and prioritization
Deep product management expertise (5+ years) in consumer facing products
Industry expertise (consumer banking / consumer finance — deposits, online banking, mortgage, etc.; 3+ years) preferred but open to non-financial services if strong track record on requirements #3-5 below
In current and past roles, owns and drives product strategy, roadmap, UX/UI, feature definition and integration with 3rd parties/partners. Scope includes new product launch, product extensions and ongoing product management to deliver commercial goals
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent consumer facing products that were commercially successful; ability to develop differentiated products that uniquely serve target customers
Proven track record of leading and inspiring multi-functional team to deliver products and services — stakeholders across marketing/customer acquisition, UX/UI, IT/delivery, risk/compliance, servicing, operations and multiple 3rd party vendors
