Product Manager/Strategy 4-ProdDev
We are looking for an energetic, talented and detail oriented individual to be a pivotal member of the product team with a focus on the success of the Oracle Cloud Workforce Management. This role will focused on the Absence Management product area.
The Product Manager will primarily focused on the delivery on new features. The individual works with other Product Managers, the User Experience team and Development leads to help ensure success of each product and maximise overall return for stakeholders.
As an overview, this will include:
Become an expert on product functionality
Working directly with customers to understand needs, answer queries and get feedback
Strong strategic thinking, planning and tactical execution and the ability to manage and drive priorities
Working with the PM, UX and Development teams to deliver the agreed roadmap
Produce detailed designs for new features that include: user flows, UI changes, user messages, impacts to REST services and APIs, upgrade considerations, etc.
Document and priorities User Stories for development and delivery
Be an active member of the Agile Sprint teams during the development phase of delivery
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
