Sutter Health Certified RN Anesthetist - CRNA - OB Anesthesia in Sacramento, California
The CRNA provides routine and emergency anesthesia care and resuscitative support to obstetric patients.
Education: California State Licensure as a Registered Nurse. Compliance with State regulatory requirements for certification as a Nurse Anesthetist in the State of California. Graduation from an approved program of nursing anesthesia accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs or its predecessor. Certification by the Council on Certification or re-certification by the Council on re-certification or their respective predecessors or if pending initial re-certification, evidence of graduation from an approved nurse anesthesia program. Current certification in BLS.
Experience: Prior OB anesthesia experience is desired. Experience initiating, monitoring and maintaining regional anesthesia is required.
Knowledge: Professional certification by the Council on re-certification attests to the individual competence in the specialty area based on fulfillment of prescribed criteria.
Special Skills/Equipment: Education and training in the administration of regional anesthesia. Good communication skills. Ability to work well with others.
