Aerotek Machine Operator in Sacramento, California


2 Openings M-F 4 PM - 1 AM if there is OT it will be till 3 AM usually, have to be okay with mandatory OT. When there are big projects could be up to 12 hr days but that us more rare.

There are two different departments to learn, they will be cross trained on both. Very open to entry level candidates . Pay is 14/hr to start but it's because they believe in long term growth within the company.

Printing department

They are operating the machines and also doing quality checks on the products

Catching department

Catching is essentially looking through the mail that has been printed out as it comes out the machine to make sure things are correct while stacking them in a row

What quality checks look like to them:

Checking for correct addresses, bar codes and logos

They also look for basic computer skills from candidates


Production, Machine operation, Machine operating
