Job Description

Coordinate field operations for complex, fast tracked projects with a commitment to quality & safe construction processes.

  • Possess a working knowledge & understanding of logistics and scheduling.

  • Knowledge of Project Safety and Quality Control.

  • Participates in the formulation of sub-scopes & subcontractor de-scopes.

  • Responsible for reporting cost codes and daily labor units.

  • Responsible for the daily reports & reporting of any job specific impacts that may occur regarding time delay, scheduling conflicts & or cost implications.

  • Manages & monitors construction activity to maintain compliance with contract specs and company quality & safety standards.

  • Prepares labor production budget & establishes & maintains labor control in coordination

  • Works cooperatively & proactively to maintain subcontractors’ relations.

  • Monitors schedule.

  • Assigns work to field personnel.

  • Reports labor time & signs timesheets.

  • Prepares & reviews & initials Daily Construction Reports.

  • Schedules safety meetings and administers jobsite mobilization.

  • Participates in preconstruction meetings.

  • Reviews & verified weekly quantities.

  • Coordinates special inspections as required.

  • Ensures subcontractors follow Safety Procedures

  • Demonstrates full & current knowledge of all OSHA Safety always requirements & maintains compliance with these requirements on the job site.

  • Communicates job status to Project Manager and other management team members on a regular basis.

  • Always Represents Company with professionalism & a commitment to quality.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Self-Motivated

Required Skills

  • OSHA Training, Blue Print Reading, Excel

Physical Demands:

Field demands. Must have the ability to maintain assigned work hours. Extended workdays and workweeks are expected, when required.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years in field as construction superintendent

  • Must possess or be able to obtain Security Clearance.

  • Government contacting experience required.

  • 4-year degree in Construction Management is desired but not required. A combination of education and work experience will be considered.

  • Excellent knowledge of construction, craft activities, quality control, cost control schedules & safety

  • OSHA Training prefer 30 certificates

  • Ability to work independently while working in a strong team environment.

  • Ability to prioritize work to accommodate deadlines with minimum supervision;

  • Proficiency and working experience in Microsoft Office Platform.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
