The foundation of all we do is to create things that really matter.Position SummaryWe're looking for a Clinical Solutions Architect to serve as a senior leader of one or more of the EMR products from inception to deployment. In this role, you will analyze user needs, product interfaces, new technologies, and will research appropriate workflows to further develop software functionality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments within CliniComp to ensure superior customer support, system optimization, and problem resolution. You will often leverage your knowledge in healthcare system standards, federal and state incentive programs, advanced clinical decision support across the functional areas of an EMR and expectations from commercial products in the field. A key function of this role is to collaborate with teams to optimize product development for company and client success. If you are a critical thinker with knowledge of EMR Technology and strong leadership abilities, we want to talk to you!ResponsibilitiesServe as a seasoned expert and assembles requirements, dividing the progress into functional sprints for development. Identifies existing product strengths and weaknesses across multiple components of the product to leverage existing technology underpinnings of the CliniComp, Intl. EMR.Working with senior leadership, drives the strategy for specification and leads documentation of requirements for the development of software including Order Entry and Clinical Decision Support, including permissions, user preferences, clinical orders, diagnostic testing, interfaces and charge capture along with other functional workflows at hospitals and health care provider organizations using the CliniComp|EHR product suite.Leads the EMR product development from software specifications through testing and deployment for functions of acute care health care organizations, including inptatient and outpatient environments.Designs pre and post implementation assessment and follow-up driving positive results and process improvements.Facilitate development of internal testing and external training programs to educate client staff on system features and capabilities as they are implemented to our customer base.Participate in national, regional and local events that position CliniComp to be recognized as a leader in the use of information technology, including tradeshows and user group meetings. Assist in product demonstrations and business development opportunities.Investigate and resolve matters of significance related to quality assurance, system change requests, usability issues, technical support, device integration, and coordinate with business partners as needed.Provide consultation and advice to business partners and leadership at CliniComp, Intl.RequirementsMasters Degree or above in a health related field.Information Systems Experience at hospitals or vendor organizations: 10-15 years.License/Certification: Registered Nurse or PhysicianLeadership experience with technology systems development, design, implementation and maintenance of 10-15 yearsRequires up to 10% of travel.
