We have an exciting summer internship opportunity for an undergraduate studying statistics, business, information systems related major to intern in San Diego, CA. Under direct supervision, successfully chosen candidate will assist in many aspects of our Configuration- Systems Engineering Tools & Processes team.
In this position, internship candidates will support data collection, analysis, and creating stochastic models using MS Excel. Primary goals include understand historical engineering labor efforts by collecting and analyzing labor hours, conducting interviews with subject matter experts, developing regression models / parametric data, document findings.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in the day to day activities of assigned functional area assisting in the completion of non-routine and advanced tasks.
Assists in applying knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve non-routine problems.
Assists in developing electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams and charts.
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Additional Functions Other duties as assigned or required.

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Hourly
Typically requires enrollment as an undergraduate student at a recognized college or university to participate in supervised practical training in a professional field.
The ability to understand new concepts and apply them accurately
The ability to follow general and detailed instructions as well as organizational policies and procedures
Good communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective interface with internal professionals
The ability to work independently or in a team environment
Basic computer skills
Programming experience (at least one of the following):
Intermediate or advance Microsoft Excel Skills
