Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Principal Logistics Management Analyst (Level 3). This position will be located in San Diego, CA.
Controls the efficient flow of material, goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
Responsible for spares & repair activities to support customer.
Provide weekly status to the customer on spares & repairs and collaborates with Global Supply Chain to ensure appropriate status is provided in a timely manner.
Also ensures the execution and continuous improvement of Supply Support processes, such as replenishments, repair processes, spare processes, demand data, repairs/spares analysis and related functions.
Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.
Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 6 years of applied experience in inventory control, logistics, and or shipping/receiving
Experience with SAP processing spares & repairs or kits
Experience creating shippers in SAP, MRP, ERP or similar inventory software tool
Inventory shelf life experience
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
Current active Secret Clearance
Ability to communicate effectively with the customer and prepare updates on spares and repairs desired.
Material or Labor Cost Account Manager Experience or Work Package Manager Experience desired.
