Oracle Project Manager - Cloud Transaction Management in San Diego, California
Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery.
Develops project plans and coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex; independent judgment needed. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Prefer 5 years of project management or related experience.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

_Cloud Transaction Management (CTM) - Project Manager_
Cloud Transaction Management (CTM) is focused on resolving underlying problems throughout the Cloud transactional lifecycle, supporting the Accelerated Activation Experience initiative.
Individuals in the CTM Project Manager position will be responsible for the investigation and resolution of complex Cloud provisioning issues, identifying root causes that likely span across various systems in our Quote to Order flow, and driving meaningful improvement in the form of enhancements or changes to systems, processes, and people/knowledge to avoid future occurrence of issues. Responsible for working with Global Process Owners (GPO) to streamline operations, process, and system issues in the Quote to Order process areas. Collaborating with CTM Transactional Support Team, Functional Experts and GPOs, Product Development teams, Sales Operations etc.
_Responsibilities_
Review support details and findings related to all quoting and ordering issues submitted into the CTM workflow. Thoroughly review potential drivers throughout the transactional lifecycle to identify root causes. Accurately identify the drivers of issues to allow for engagement with GPOs/stakeholders on an appropriate resolution
Translate root cause information into proposals to drive improvements or changes to systems, processes, and people/knowledge that have been prioritized based on impact to the customer and Oracle
Collaborate with Global Process Owners, functional experts, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure the delivery of solutions to eliminate future occurrence of issues. Ensure that a change or solution is delivered to resolve recurring business issues, which will eliminate frequent customer satisfaction issues and cost to Oracle in the form of rework
Work with internal stakeholders – Global Process Owners, Product Development, IT Support, Cloud Frame Work team etc. to secure understanding on New Product and Process roll-outs. Ensure quick progression of ideas to implement preventative process/policy/ automation recommendations
Identify improvement opportunities & implement process/policy /automation projects in the Quote to Order area. Prevent issues from recurring, improves customer satisfaction and reduces rework
Report out improvement progress to senior executives
