Aerotek TA Sourcing Specialist in San Diego, California

Description:

Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist We are looking to hire a skilled Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to assist with the sourcing and hiring of candidates for specialized technical positions. In this role, you will source and potential candidates online develop talent pipelines, and evaluate candidate qualifications. You will also be required to manage and update the candidate database. You may also conduct initial candidate screenings, and set up interviews To ensure success as a TA Sourcing specialist, you should have detailed knowledge of modern sourcing techniques, excellent communication skills, and will be able to source the perfect candidate for positions that are often hard to fill. Primary Responsibilities: • Crafting and sending recruitment emails. • Evaluating candidate profiles and resumes against job qualifications • Interacting with potential candidates on professional networks and social media. • Working cross functionally with Quidel’s hiring managers in identifying top talent profiles. • Contacting industry partners for candidate referrals. • Identifying and screening potential candidates. • Organizing and conducting online interviews. • Creating talent pipelines for current and future hires. • Managing the company’s candidate database. • Partnering with Talent Acquisition counterparts to understand position requirements and document feedback from hiring managers. • Setting up candidate interviews with Hiring Managers. • Measuring and recording conversion rates.

Day To day Intake Call-

TA coordinator does interview scheduling and entering checks for candidates that are hired, this person would help source them, will partner w/ recruiting team in community outreach/university outreach nd military recruitment vendors

50% sourcing through Linkedin recruiter

50% sourcing through Indeed, glassdoor

Manage outreach to university trade schools and other hiring events.

Access to ATS system, submit people to managers track in MS teams.

Sourcing for:

-Manufacturing, production, engineering, equipment maintenance techs. 30 openings making sure production lines are working and minor maintenance issues. Engineers do process improvements, manufacturing engineers and chemistry/process chemistry, QC positions, Purchasing/procurement, EHS facilities maintenance, roles covering 50 different types

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • A minimum of two years previous experience working with a HR, Talent Acquisition, or staffing related team experience with various recruiting techniques. • Familiarity with social media marketing and digital networking. • Experience working with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite. • Proficient in Applicant Tracking or similar databases/web-based programs. Knowledge or sourcing strategy including: Boolean search strings, navigation of job boards and internal ATS as well as social media • Ability to work remotely. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Good time management skills. • Good negotiation skills. • Ability to understand general technical requirements for various roles (science, engineering, software, etc,)
