Salesforce is seeking to hire an Analyst to join the Regulatory Compliance Center within the Legal and Corporate Affairs (LCA) organization. To support the #1 value of Trust at Salesforce, this team serves as a critical part of the company’s second line of defense by monitoring, detecting, preventing, and mitigating global regulatory, compliance, and reputational risk to the company. In this role, you will work on strategic, high impact programs with visibility to executive leadership across the business. An immediate focus will be to support efforts supporting our global country compliance program.

Salesforce is growing rapidly, and a successful candidate for this role must be comfortable with exposure to changing responsibilities and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the Regulatory Compliance team, you must be comfortable with solving complex problems that do not have clear solutions while maintaining a focus on our values and mitigating risk to the company in a fluid regulatory, social, and geo-political environment. This role will report to the Director, Regulatory Compliance.

The ideal candidate for this role has compliance expertise within a multi-national financial institution, technology company, or a company in a regulated industry. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, written and oral communication skills, investigative skills, and the ability to collaborate within a team and with cross-functional business partners are must have skills. The candidate will assist in the identification of compliance risk across the company's lines of business and work with regional Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams to develop, deploy, and monitor risk mitigation processes when needed.

Job Functions:

  • Assist with identifying and mitigating instances of possible risk in company expansion activities.

  • Support planning and execution of the strategic risk mitigation projects.

  • Assess internal controls and collaborate with functional teams to remediate identified risk issues.

  • Conduct compliance risk assessments, in partnership with functional owners; draft assessment reports detailing results, obligations, risk analyses and controls recommendations to policies, process, and systems.

  • Maintain the compliance program around business practices and run compliance monitoring projects for controls.

  • Liaise between functional teams and the company’s controls teams (e.g., legal, LCA compliance teams, privacy, information security, etc.) to assess new and changed processes and advise on design to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Assist with intake, triage and advisory of compliance-related matters across Salesforce business lines in US, APAC, EMEA and LATAM.

  • Work with Operations and Technology personnel to put in place controls to support business expansion efforts.

  • Prepare management and status reporting.

  • Assist with producing, enhancing and delivering compliance training to employees.

  • Assist with regulatory exams, inquiries and audits as needed.

  • Run risk and compliance related projects as required.

  • Support LCA pro bono program efforts.


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; law degree is a bonus

  • Minimum 3-5 years of compliance or enterprise risk management experience in the technology, financial services industry or relevant government agency/regulator

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Audit or compliance testing/monitoring

  • Prior experience in Project management and proficiency in MSOffice/GSuite (e.g. Google sheets/docs/slides)

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with high attention detail and ability to troubleshoot issues

  • Ability to handle multiple priority projects at once and deliver high quality results consistently

  • Self-starter and to ensure projects are followed through to completion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An understanding of regulatory compliance programs

  • Experience working in a global, large-scale and fast-paced environment

  • Experience supporting country expansions

  • Experience working with cross functional partners

  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and drive forward results
