About the role

The Associate Graphic Designer is part of the Old Navy Global Marketing Team.

What you'll do

  • Develop innovative design solutions for marketing materials; Digital emails, promos, site banners print signage. More heavily focused on digital.

  • Design weekly campaigns using templates and toolkits, with an understanding of brand standards.

  • Review/approve mechanical files produced by Production Artists.

  • A keen eye for detail along with a healthy mix of creative and technical know-how.

  • Strong typography and layout skills.

  • Jump on hot projects and be a quick thinker.

  • Problem solve and come up with creative solutions when design tweaks are needed.

  • Execute tactical direction from Art Directors efficiently.

  • Independently manage workload and deliver work on time.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task across different projects.

  • Effectively communicate expectations with the Studio Manager and Project Manager.

  • Maintain absolute accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process.

  • Understanding of brand narrative and storytelling

  • Passion for design, style & fashion

  • A team player, with strong collaboration with creative team.

  • Finalize digital artwork, ensuring all creative material is optimized and provided in correct format for handoff.

Who you are

  • BA in Graphic Design or related area.

  • Self-starter with 1-3 years of experience.

  • Retail, fashion or agency experience preferred.

  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize.

  • Experience in digital emails and print creative.

  • Able to navigate server structures, such as Box or Sharepoint.
