The Community Program Manager, Online Forums is responsible for driving awareness and engagement of one of our successful Community programs - the Tableau Online Forums. Working closely with the Customer Solutions team, you will contribute to the overall program strategy, and drive integration of the forums across all community and customer touchpoints. You will help drive alignment on branding and messaging for our community forums to drive visibility and engagement.

We’re looking for a talented marketer with significant program and project management experience. We expect this person to be ready to support the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan for Community forums - while also working closely with key teams within Tableau to ensure efficiency and integration opportunities are explored. Ideal candidates have 5-7 years of experience successfully leading marketing plans and strategies.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include…

  • Develop/implement a comprehensive marketing plan for driving awareness and engagement of the Tableau forums

  • Partners with Customer Solutions team to deliver a seamless end to end experience for our community members by identifying the right integration points across our community programs.

  • Work with other Tableau Community programs and teams to help amplify their programs through our Tableau Forums

  • Work across the marketing teams to drive integration of Forums into the customer experience.

  • Tracks progress of ongoing projects and helps drives to completion

  • Report monthly on key metrics from the Forums (registrations, activity, questions, ideas, etc) to the Community Marketing team

  • Understands key functions and projects in the department; provides monitoring and follow-through support on action items in progress

  • Participates in weekly cross-functional leadership meetings including contributions to agenda, content, speakers and notes

Who you are…

  • Strong communication skills. Excellent written and oral communication.

  • Strong project management skills and experience

  • Marketing experience with leading projects and initiatives from start to finish

  • Data Driven. Experience analyzing data, patterns and trends

  • Tableau experience preferred

  • Salesforce Community Cloud preferred

  • Experience working and collaborating with different global time zones preferred

  • Strategic thinker.

  • A Team player.

  • Detail-oriented and deadline driven

  • Experienced. 5-7 years+ experience in Marketing
