Thispositionserves the CommonSpirit Health Philanthropy Department with a specific focus on the CommonSpirit Health Foundation to develop grant proposals for health equity. The position interfaces with grant development staff in the 82 affiliated fundraising foundations, as well as subsidiaries, such as Dignity Health Medical Foundation, to write proposals that will seek funding to support health equity programs throughout CommonSpirit. The Grants Manager will work closely with the Director of Grant Development to develop partnerships with government organizations, private foundations, corporate foundations, and other potential funding partners. The Grants Manager will work collaboratively with the Vice President of the CommonSpirit Health Foundation to understand health equity needs and develop targeted proposals aimed at advancing the health and well-being of patients, vulnerable individuals, and communities served by our hospitals and care centers.

Buildsandmaintainsstrong, collaborative relationships with CommonSpirit Health Foundation leadership, chief philanthropy officers, foundation staff, and colleagues across the organization, including other departments, to help facilitate a culture of
Coordinatewithpost-award team to ensure fund stewardship and post-award
Creates, manages and maintains tools for tracking grant efforts to measure productivity and fundraising
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in communication, business or related field or equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of five (5) years successful professional experience in grant writing or grants management or related fundraising operations.
