CharterUP Product Manager in San Francisco, California

About CharterUP

CharterUP aims to be the leading charter bus platform in the world and is looking for people that want to be along for the ride. We are disrupting the highly fragmented bus industry by connecting providers (supply-side bus companies) to customers (demand-side businesses, non-profits, and governmental entities). About This Role

We are looking for an eager Product Manager to jump in and help us execute our product strategy and roadmap. Product managers must have sharp business acumen, diligent project management skills, and social skills to analyze market needs and translate them into development-ready features.


  • $100,000 to be adjusted based on experience

  • Eligible for equity package

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with company stakeholders including Director of Product

  • Accountable for the success of products, including being a subject matter expert

  • Collaborate with engineering on solution designs

  • Track progress and remove roadblocks for teams

  • Support QA and Customer Support to triage issues

  • Provide ready-to-code designs to the development team with acceptance criteria for QA

  • Demo and hand-off features to the areas of business where your product is utilized

What You'll Need

  • 1-3 years of SaaS or mobile product management or product strategy experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar STEM degree from a top-ranked institution

  • Ability to prioritize roadmaps and fully scope features for your product

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with technical and non-technical teams

  • Ability to prioritize when multi-tasking, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail

  • Ability consolidate multiple points of inputs, from multiple sources into a strategy, product vision, and a roadmap

  • Understanding of the full-stack development process

  • Preferred experience with UI/UX focused design standards

  • Welcomed experience in the transportation industry or with e-booking or ticketing systems

  • Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, Sketch, and InVision or similar tools and platforms

  • Working knowledge of SQL Databases


Every new hire, regardless of location, will work remotely for at least the next few months until it is safe to return to the office nationwide. CharterUP's headquarters are in Atlanta but CharterUP is open to employees working remotely or from CharterUP's satellite offices in SF and NYC.

Tech Team Application Process
