What you’ll be doing:
In short, you will help lead Cruise to being at our best in greatest moments of need
Coordinate creation & updates to company-wide and functional incident response plans
Lead cross-functional incident response by facilitating Crisis Management Team
Ensure readiness by planning, executing, and evaluating exercise events
Continuously assess response risks and proactively lead initiatives to address them; facilitate key metrics and reporting
What you must have:
BA / BS in a related field and 5+ years of directly relevant experience leading crisis/incident response or operations
Track record of demonstrated strategic thinking & prioritization in complex, evolving, and ambiguous situations
Steady, thoughtful, methodical approach and ability to execute under pressure
Demonstrated passion for building and leading programs that protect an organization’s mission amidst adverse events
Excellent written/verbal communication and ability to effectively interface with stakeholders ranging from frontline to C-suite
Bonus Points!
Incident response or business continuity planning experience or relevant certifications, particularly with standards/frameworks from relevant industries
Fleet management or other relevant mobility/transportation experience
Entrepreneurial experience/ownership mentality or other innovation history
Enthusiasm for the potential of autonomous driving to move life forward in our cities and improve road safety
Availability for occasional night/weekend on-call/work and travel if circumstances necessitate
