Nutanix Customer Marketing Specialist in San Jose, California
As a member of the Education Services Marketing team, you will be responsible for driving successful completion of key marketing programs and initiatives required to meet the ambitious goals of the Education Services business group.
Your goal is to promote the visibility and value of Nutanix Education Services to current and potential customers; engage with internal sales teams to increase attach rates; and build successful relationships with the Education Services team and other marketing organizations.
This role requires a strong ability to execute on marketing plans on schedule with minimal direction, while also bringing new ideas and providing feedback on strategy, planning and direction.
Drive the successful execution of the Education Services marketing plan, including course and certification launches, quarterly and spot discount promotions, demand generation, and other projects as assigned.
Write marketing copy and content to include infographics, emails, blog posts, social media messages, web page content, and more as needed.
Act as the Internal Sales liaison for all of the customer marketing team, to include building & updating sales support collateral, creating & producing sales enablement training, building visibility for the team’s activities, and conducting ongoing meetings to discover what they need more of & what doesn’t work.
Publish video content to the Nutanix University YouTube channel and Customer Marketing playlist and optimize it for best search results; including description edits, tagging, thumbnail creation, schedule management, and metrics reporting.
Manage the strategy, content and user experience for the Nutanix University and Customer Marketing web pages.
Manage multiple ongoing email nurture campaigns (including content creation, metrics reporting) and propose ideas for new campaigns once up to speed.
Track, Measure and Report on key results and achievements.
Qualifications and Experience:
3-5 yrs. experience in marketing programs
Strong multi-tasking and project management skills to support many initiatives at once
Attention to detail, flexibility, strong follow through
Experience with email marketing, and the difference between marketing/sales and transactional messaging will be helpful
Experience working with cross-functional teams to engage and interlock with key stakeholders within the Education Services, Sales, and Content Development organizations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required. Familiarity with SFDC, Smartsheet, Canva, and Trello preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing disciplines
