The Director, Content Marketing will be responsible for leading our content excellence across the Cortex Division at Palo Alto Networks. You will recruit and mentor a high performing team of content marketing professionals to support our entire stack of demand and digital marketing touchpoints including demand generation campaigns and assets, paid media creative and social. You will be responsible for driving content planning and delivery across programs, solutions, thought leadership, and research to support our digital connected journeys across our industry leading collaboration portfolio.
Lead content marketing across all demand marketing activities including programs and campaigns, paid media creative, social media, website, and assets
Strategize content marketing pillars across products, solutions, thought leadership, and research
Align with product marketing and integrated marketing/demand generation leadership to translate product marketing strategy to content creation and delivery
Coordinate with marketing operations and demand generation to optimize content plan against leads and pipeline goals
Perform regular content audits
Support our organic search SEO goals by leveraging keywords across the content mix
Partner with the global field teams around localization program management
10+ years recruiting and leading content marketing teams
Experience building content for global audiences for an enterprise audience
Thorough understanding of digital and social marketing
Solid understanding of SEO
International marketing experience is a plus
Familiarity with marketing automation software (Eloqua or Marketo)
