Common Solutions SBU (Service Business Unit) is seeking an execution leader who is passionate about driving field and operational issues to enable service and equipment growth. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in semiconductor equipment and field support. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects, and must be team player with technical and business acumen. Applies semiconductor industry and equipment knowledge to define best practices.
Service readiness for NPI and sustaining products
Implement change management packages related to service and spares, working with Marketing, Product Support and Planning organizations
Facilitates CIP (Continuous Improvement Program) activities based on competitive landscape, technical requirement and ROI (Return on Investment) analysis.
Drive common modules roadmap and implementation post Phase 5 of PLC
Implementation of component roadmaps including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors and cost reduction
Facilitates Intercompany communication to align on product strategies, provide guidance on pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders.
Ensure Field organization readiness for complex solutions with service
Support or Lead as necessary effort and coordination between various intercompany groups (such as operations, Engineering and Global Program Management) to achieve divisional cost targets and improve operational metrics
Manage changes to the product after product release whether driven by engineering, quality, safety, customer demands or supply obsolescence
Regarded as the technical expert in their particular field. Semiconductor equipment knowledge is a must.
