Aerotek Quality Control Research Associate II in Santa Monica, California

Seeking candidates for multiple Quality Control Research Associate II roles available with a biotechnology laboratory in Santa Monica.

Description:

  • Flow cytometry, cell culture, qPCR

  • Conduct non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished product samples.

  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and test methods.

  • Assists in the training of QC staff as needed.

  • Applies knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Laboratory Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

  • Writes and executes protocols and reports.

  • Evaluates equipment for purchase and performs installations and qualifications of the new instruments.

Requirements to apply:

  • B.S. + 3-5 years of experience, or M.S. + 1-2 years of experience.

  • Degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Developmental Biology, Chemical Engineering or any related scientific discipline

  • Experience in at least two of the following: cell culture, cell passaging, aseptic technique, PCR (qPCR or ddPCR) or flow cytometry

  • GMP experience a plus
