UCLA Health Registered Dietetic Technician - Santa Monica in Santa Monica, California
Responsibilities
In this role you will provide daily nutrition care for patients in the eating disorder medical stabilization
program. Assist with Computrition tasks, menu entry, menu modification under
the supervison of the ED RD, and other ED nutrition tasks . Perform nutrition screens, gather information from patients, modify/correct menus,
perform nutrition education and document in the medical record. Work as a team member and interact with
other health care team members. Participate in departmental activities, meetings, committees, performance improvement and
other nutrition related tasks. Also work with other peds patients and cross
trained on the adult floors.Qualifications
Required:
Registered as a Diet Technician through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Strong EMR charting skills
Excellent customer service skills
Applicants need experience in healthcare and direct patient care and not just food service
Preferred:
- Academic hospital experience
