Proofpoint Director, Channel Partner Programs-SF Bay Area in Sunnyvale, California

Your day-to-day

Support definition and positioning of the channel and business development programs Proofpoint

needs to implement or evolve.

Create channel partner and internal program documents to clearly identify the benefits, terms and

conditions, rules of engagement, and collateral that support programs globally.

Manage the sales team and channel partner feedback on the programs once launched, and

effectively implement a roadmap of change that supports business objectives.

Research our channel partner incentives and business development programs against our

competitors.

Consult with internal Proofpoint teams to help identify, design, and implement the business

processes necessary to implement a successful set of channel partner incentives and business

development programs globally

Define and lead the planning of the infrastructure needed to support and evolve the programs

intended to drive partner revenue contribution to Proofpoint.

Track and report key performance metrics tied to the business objectives

What you bring to the team

10+ years of direct experience in Channel Sales, Sales Operations, Partner Sales Programs and

Promotions, Product or Channel Marketing related roles.

A thorough understanding of the two-tier go-to-market strategy and what is required to effectively

support this strategy from a sales and operations perspective.

Experience working with channel partner incentive programs to drive behavior, incremental sales

and adoption of company strategies.

Experience working with IT project teams to drive business and program requirements.

Experienced in data analysis.

Must possess excellent project management skills and good follow up skills to complete tasks as

scheduled.

Previous experience working with cross-functional teams.

Highly skilled relationship and rapport building skills to assist and help drive program success.

Ability to lead consensus and alignment and resolve issues across departments and organizations.
