CHIE’s New Technology Engineering (NTE) team is seeking a passionate, driven, and intellectually curious Engineering Program Manager for software development. The NTE team is accountable for the engineering, validation and production readiness of new solutions for infrastructure capacity. This role will lead a cross-Microsoft initiative focused on optimization and automation for provisioning cloud supercomputing capacity. A successful candidate for this role will leverage their analytical, leadership, and communication skills to deliver cross-functional solutions that enable our high-performance computing and artificial intelligence service offerings.
Manage the delivery of process and software engineering features to
Work directly with partner engineering teams to ensure new services meet production specifications for high volume cloud supercomputing capacity.
Identify, prototype and lead the implementation of new features and capabilities to increase the predictability, agility and quality of our deployment systems.
Enable rapid time-to-market for the introduction of new services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
7+ years of experience in the development and release of software products or services
5+ years of experience creating and delivering executive-level communications
Proficiency in agile program management leading technical engineering teams
Master’s degree in engineering or business administration
In-depth knowledge of infrastructure (hardware and software) technologies
Demonstrated ability to use data to identify key issues for the business and lead continuous improvement initiatives
Proven track record of successfully influencing others at all levels of the organization
Direct experience with AI/ML technologies
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
