Encina Veterinary Hospital has been providing extraordinary pet care for the Walnut Creek and surrounding East Bay areas since 1977. Some of our services include: wellness exams, vaccinations, advanced surgery including laparoscopic procedures, dentistry, senior care, 24 hour ICU and emergency care, and advanced diagnostics such as ultrasonography, endoscopy, radiology (x-rays), CT scan, and an in-house laboratory.
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant Supervisor to join our team. This is for an overnight position, in which shift differential pay would apply.
The successful candidate will be a believer in the best medicine for all patients with the expertise and technical knowledge to develop and train a team to support doctors and deliver excellence in care and service.
In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and leading our Veterinary Assistants, while creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:
- Elevating and unifying care
• Creating an efficient team who can quickly monitor and maintain care
Assist in perfecting flow within the hospital
Train to develop skills for the entire technical team
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
